I am an Educational Psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, practising in the Somerset West area, in the Western Cape.
As an Educational Psychologist, I work with children and adolescents who experience challenges regarding learning and development, including a wide range of emotional, behavioural and scholastic difficulties.
Included in my field of specialisation:
- Therapeutic support (addressing a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties);
- Psycho-educational and psychometric assessments (including career-, subject choice-, school readiness-, and school performance assessments;
- Neurodevelopmental Conditions, includuing Autism Spectrum Conditions; Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity; among other
- Study skills training;
- Assistance with time-management and organisational skills;
- Mental and thinking (metacognitive) skills training;
- Group workshops and training sessions on various topics.
